Bob Blatz

 

Bob has served in our Council since January 2015 when he was hired as a Lead District Executive for the Polaris District. During the summers of 2016, 2018-2019 Bob served as the Camp Commissioner at Camp Scouthaven. In the Fall of 2018 Bob moved to the Onondaga District as their Senior District Executive. During Bob's time in both Districts, he helped them to membership and finance growth. In February 2021 Bob was named the Council Operations Manager. Bob also serves the Council as the Staff Advisor for Wood Badge Training and the Religious Relationship Committees. 

Prior to joining our council, Bob spent over 30 years working in Banking and Finance, and was a long time District Member of Large with the Onondaga District Serving on the Advancement Committee and as the FOS & Training Chair.

Bob is an OA Vigil Honor Member, District Award of Merit Honoree and is Wood Badge trained.  In the Community Bob volunteers with Pack 619 as a Committee Member. Bob is involved with his Parish at SS Peter & Paul Church in Williamsville. In 2024 Bob was awarded The Lay Award of St. Joseph the Worker from the Diocese of Buffalo. Bob is also involved with the Knights of Columbus serving currently as Grand Knight in the 3rd Degree and an officer in the 4th Degree. In his free time, he enjoys watching his son Brandon play Hockey as well as watching the Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and Bandits.

Bob lives in Williamsville with his wife Julie and has 2 Adult Children Brandon and Hannah.
