Bob Confer

 

Bob Confer is the Executive Vice-President of the WNY Scout Council. He joined Scouting in 1986 and became an Eagle Scout. Upon graduating from college, he became -- at the young age of 22 -- the scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 18 in Gasport. After “retiring” from that role 9 years later, he joined the board of the Iroquois Trail Council, ultimately becoming the President, a position he held for nearly a decade.

Bob is the President of Confer Plastics, Inc. which has manufacturing and distribution facilities in North Tonawanda and Wheatfield. Bob also serves the community through volunteerism at his alma mater SUNY Brockport and he writes columns for 4 local media outlets. He and his wife Bernadette live in Gasport with their 4 children.
