Everything You Need to Chart Your Ideal Year of Scouting

What is the Ideal Year of Scouting (IYOS)? 
The IYOS is one that sees an active unit, properly funded, with membership growth. The launch event will provide the materials, knowledge, and ideas to enhance your unit and build your own IYOS. 

When is the IYOS Launch event?
The event is Wednesday, May 18th from 6-8:30PM
 

What is happening at the event?
Upon arrival and check-in, you will be provided with a IYOS Catalog, loaded with ideas for the upcoming year.  From there, you'll proceed to the Cafeteria for the Midway and some opening comments from council leadership.  After the opening, you will be directed to one of two spaces for breakout sessions on Membership or Popcorn.  After the breakout sessions, return to the midway for Program ideas and collect stamps and win prizes!

Who should attend?
Scouters, unit leaders, committee members, this is the event to help you plan your Ideal Year of Scouting. To get the most out of the IYOS Launch, every unit should have at least three adult leaders attend the event.

Where do we park and enter building?
Free parking in the school parking lot on the West side of the building.  Enter through the door off the parking lot.

I have mobility challenges, can I participate?
Yes, the school building is fully accessible.
